Teach me to give.
Not grudgingly with measure spare,
Cold reticence, regretful care,
But as Love's full reflection may I give,
Yielding my life, my love, myself, each hour I live
In joyous abnegation.
Forgetful of all cost, refusing thoughts of gain,
Knowing no sacrifice, forgiving proud disdain;
Melting all earth-weights in Love's holy flame—
So may I give my all in Thy dear name.
