With a heart full of gratitude I wish to report the wonderful healing of my eight-year-old daughter. In the spring of 1937, she became sick with appendicitis. After an operation, peritonitis developed. She had to undergo two more severe operations in the same week, and she suffered great pain during the Easter vacation. After the third operation more complications developed, and no hope of recovery was left. The doctor said he could do nothing further.
Then some friends drew my attention to Christian Science. I immediately turned to a practitioner for help, which was lovingly given. There was immediate relief. Then two large blood vessels burst. I at once turned again to the practitioner. The child's condition began to improve, and she was completely healed in a very short time.
I am inexpressibly grateful to God for this healing. I am also grateful to the dear friends who brought Christian Science to me, and to the practitioner who helped us so lovingly. I also thank our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for her glorious discovery and for her book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," and I am grateful for all that Christian Science is giving to all mankind.— Möstchen bei Schwiebus, Germany.
