The regenerating and healing effect of Christian Science has been demonstrated many times in my experience.
A dear relative, a Christian Scientist, presented proof to me, about twelve years ago, that peace could be experienced where fear seemed to grip me. My baby had been exposed to a disease called contagious. This relative took the baby and me into her home and that night told me to read the twenty-third Psalm. This calmed my thought and I slept peacefully. The baby did not have the disease, and that was the beginning of my learning to trust God and my healing of false responsibility.
Later my attention was directed to Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and I read on page 411, "Disease is an image of thought externalized." This was difficult to believe then, but now I know it to be true.
