The decision, "Not guilty," is usually quickly rendered in a court of law when the defendant can prove that he was not present when an alleged crime took place, even though all the evidence may have seemed incriminating.
Through the revelation of Christian Science, we discover that man is not guilty; that he is not a material organism or chemical product of the Adam-dream, but the perfect idea of God. God is his only parent; therefore he is immortal, incorporeal. He is coexistent with God, because he is His reflection. It can be readily seen, therefore, that the man God created, the only man there is, never lived in a material past because he could never for a moment be separated from God.
The real man knows no life apart from God. He is not mortal and is not subject to the carnal mind's limitations or punishments. God, Life, is the source and continuity of all His creation. Time, matter, sin, disease, and death are entirely unknown to God and man.
