For all the good I have received since taking up the study of Christian Science, I wish to give thanks. I am grateful for the physical healings, the spiritual uplift, and the protection experienced by the members of my family.
My first healing was of constipation, the healing work being done by a practitioner. I had taken medicine for this complaint as long as I could remember. The healing took place fourteen years ago, and has been permanent. Before I became interested in Christian Science I experienced about three attacks of bronchitis every winter for a number of years. In studying Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy during the fall of 1932, to overcome a cold, I was healed of the bronchitis, and I have never had an attack since.
The first healing work I did for my son was for a bruise on his face when he was three years old. I went to the telephone to call a practitioner, but received no answer. I realized that God is everywhere and that all healing comes from Him. I studied Science and Health and worked as best I could, and within a short time all trace of the mark was gone. For the joy that came with the healing I am very grateful.
