It is with sincere humility and gratitude to God that I offer this testimony to the healing efficacy of Christian Science.
This Science came to me at a time when I did not seem able to cope with the grief that overwhelmed me at the passing on of loved ones within a short time of each other. For "the peace of God, which passeth all understanding" that gradually came to me through the loving help of a practitioner, I shall never cease to be grateful, and for having learned that "divine Love is never so near as when all earthly joys seem most afar" (The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany by Mary Baker Eddy, p. 290).
Words can never express my love and gratitude for Christian Science. I have been healed of kidney trouble, congestion of the lungs, severe burns, sick headaches, and an abscess caused by a fall; I also received an instantaneous healing of sinus trouble of over seventeen years' standing. I am grateful not only for these healings and many more, but for the spiritual unfoldment which is coming to me step by step. I find that as I turn unreservedly to God for help and guidance He is indeed a "refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Ps. 46:1).
