For over thirty years Christian Science has been our only physician, and we have had so many beautiful healings in our family that I should like to add my testimony to those of many others and thus encourage all seekers for Truth.
I was healed of dropsy in a very short time and was able to perform all my household duties while this healing was taking place. We have also had healings of colds, yellow jaundice, eczema, tumor, abscesses, and many other difficulties. But the healings which stand out most distinctly to me are two cases of mental surgery.
When our daughter was five years old, she was sliding down a hill and ran into a barbed-wire fence, severely cutting her throat. We called a Christian Science practitioner at once. Opposition was voiced because we did not call a surgeon. However, this opposition did not stop the truth from operating, and the child was back in school in two weeks perfectly healed.
