From the Treasurer of The Mother Church

Per Capita Tax, as provided in the Church Manual, Article VIII, Section 13, is due annually from "every member of The Mother Church," and "shall be forwarded each year to the Church Treasurer." Payments may be sent during the year at any time between January 1 and December 31. Special printed forms are mailed annually to all members for their convenience in making payments. Please inform the Treasurer of any change in your permanent address.

Contributions are accepted by the Treasurer for the following funds:
Promotion and Extension Fund
The Mother Church Wartime Fund
Radio Fund
General Fund
Relief Fund (For General Relief Purposes)
Charitable Institutions Fund
(The Christian Science Pleasant View Home
Christian Science Benevolent Association,

Christian Science Benevolent Association on
Pacific Coast)

Contributions for these funds from members and friends may be sent direct to the Treasurer or given through Churches of Christ, Scientist, and Christian Science Societies.

Receipts are sent only when requested at the time of remitting.

Members of The Mother Church desiring information in regard to the establishing of a trust fund should address their letters of inquiry to Roy Garrett Watson, Trustee and Treasurer of the Christian Science Trustees for Gifts and Endowments, 107 Falmouth Street, Boston 15, Massachusetts.

TENETS OF THE MOTHER CHURCH

The Tenets of The Mother Church are copyrighted, and branch organizations are not permitted to print them or to have them printed. But they may be obtained in two sizes from the Clerk of The Mother Church in the quantity desired. The large size is suitable as a basis for membership blanks, and the small size for binding into by-law booklets. Prices for Tenets are as follows:

Religious articles for the Christian Science periodicals are welcomed. Whether for the Journal, Sentinel, Herald, or Monitor, they should be addressed to The Christian Science Publishing Society, Journal, Sentinel, and Herald Editorial Department, One, Norway Street, Boston 15, Massachusetts.

Articles are accepted only from members of The Mother Church. They should contain about 500 to 2000 words, or more if the subject warrants; those for the Monitor from 750 to 850 words. Freshness, originality, naturalness, variety are prized. At least one quotation from the Bible and also one from our Leader's writings should be included.
