Because of the love I have for Christian Science, the deep devotion I feel toward our Cause, and the earnest desire I have to be a genuine Christian Scientist, I give this written testimony.
Science came into my life at an early age. I was the eldest of several children and was sent to make my home in a large city with my paternal grandparents, who were in great need of companionship because of the" passing of a dear one. My grandmother had a deep love for Christian Science, and through her I learned to love it too. The day I began to attend the Sunday School was a turning point in my life. I knew that at last I had found a Sunday School I could love and a religion that would never fail to meet my need if I did my part.
As I look back upon this experience, a warm glow of love for and gratitude to the young Sunday School teacher who started my steps in the upward way of Christian Science fills my heart.
