In the Bible we read (Ps. 105:1), "O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people." With a heart full of gratitude, I want to relate a recent healing through Christian Science.
For several years I had a cyst between the shoulder blades. Although much prayerful work in Christian Science was done for this condition, it did not yield to treatment. Then one day I became utterly weary of the problem, and I thought: "I have done all I can. God is the only healer, and He does His own work." I held firmly to this conviction.
I realized later that my complete yielding to God was the beginning of the healing. Soon afterward the cyst began to drain. The material appearance was alarming; but I was not afraid, knowing God's all-presence and all-power. I kept affirming that God is All-in-all and that matter, therefore, could be but nothing.
