The time has come when I can no longer delay expressing my gratitude to God through the Christian Science periodicals for a healing which occurred nearly thirty years ago. When our baby son was about nine days old, a little red spot appeared on his nose. It grew very rapidly until it was most disfiguring.
When the baby was about a year old, we decided to take him to a medical doctor for a diagnosis. The doctor said that the disfiguring mark would have to be removed by electrical treatment. I asked the doctor if his treatment would leave a scar, and when he said that it would, my husband and I thanked him and told him that we would have to think the matter over.
As we left the doctor's office I felt guided to see a Christian Science practitioner, and we did so. Never shall I forget the joy that came to me when I asked her if she thought the baby could be healed in Christian Science, and she replied, "My dear, I know he can." And so he was. Over a period of time the disfiguring condition gradually faded away.
