Through the divine law of God, ever-present Life, Truth, and Love, as taught and demonstrated in Christian Science, I have been wonderfully protected and blessed. I was healed of a stroke and its bad effects in seven hours.
At first the material picture was that of partial blindness and paralysis of the face, but I refused to yield my mentality to such evidence, realizing that since it was unknown to God and therefore unsupported by divine authority, it was no part of man.
Through the support of a Christian Science practitioner, I learned how to make practical the words of Paul (Eph. 6:13), "Take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." I joyously acknowledged the presence and power of God alone and my inseparability from Him. When my husband came home in the evening, I was free from all traces of the condition.
