Christian Science has done so much for me and mine that it is hard to know where I should begin in telling of our blessings. It has been my only physician for over thirty years, during which time I have felt its protecting power constantly.
When my family first became interested in Science, I was a sickly child, unable to eat many kinds of food. I fainted easily and was never allowed to attend school in the afternoon, as it was thought I needed rest. My parents decided to investigate Christian Science because of some remarkable experiences of protection which my uncle had as a captain in the Army during World War I. As a result of their investigation, Christian Science help was asked for, and I was healed.
I am grateful to have attended Sunday School for a number of years and to have gone to a college where the use of Christian Science in one's daily affairs is encouraged. My husband was ushering in The Mother Church when I met him. Since he was brought up in Science, using his understanding of it has been natural for him. Christian Science has met our every need. Through its protection we have been free from physical difficulties to a remarkable degree. Our supply has been abundant, and our happiness has been never-failing, for we know it comes from Soul. In the rearing of our children we found Christian Science a necessity. Childhood diseases vanished quickly into nothingness. We discovered that the more we freed our children in our thinking by knowing that God was their Father-Mother, the closer they were to us mentally, and the more joyous was our relationship.
