When I first came in contact with Christian Science over thirty years ago, I did not know how important this teaching was to become in my life.
An incident occurred which left us without any income. I was still young, and sometimes in my distress I did not know which way to turn. In addition, I was suffering from a chronic ear trouble which the doctors had said was practically incurable. While in this state of great despair and without human joy or happiness, I learned of Christian Science.
I went to see a Christian Science practitioner, who lovingly helped me. The very first treatment brought me relief. I do not know when the difficulty disappeared, but I was healed of the ear trouble. In the many years since, my family and I have often been able to prove the truths of Christian Science.
