The foundational facts of Christian Science are demonstrable when understood, wiping out all beliefs of mortal limitation. In Science, God is understood as All-in-all. He is immortal good, the one infinite intelligence, or divine Mind. God is not a magnified, remotely situated human person. Therefore the real man, created by God, cannot be a materially animate object, a mere physique, but is God's ever-present spiritual manifestation. Erroneous beliefs, which institute and constitute mortals' material records, are wiped out when man is recognized as the intelligent reflection of eternal Mind, God.
When one first glimpses these truths, he enters the doorway of genuine Christian development, or spiritual regeneration, whereby goodness continues to grow in his own consciousness. Persistently actuating individual devoutness through study and consecration in Christian Science, one sees the specious record of corporeality—sin and sickness, fear and failure—begin to fade from his human experience.
Spiritual understanding of God as infinite good shows as illusory and unreal the evidence of mental error, or evil, seen in records of sad material events. These events claim to occupy world thought to the exclusion of good. In order that one may heal the problems of mortality, the real man's exemption from all evil must be revealed individually in Science.
