We have had many wonderful healings in our family through the application of Christian Science over the past thirty-one years. So-called childhood diseases, rheumatic fever, and an incurable bone condition were completely overcome. A tooth lying horizontally in the gum was brought to an upright position through the application of Christian Science. Problems pertaining to supply, protection, and right decisions have been satisfactorily solved; thus it has been proved that, as Mrs. Eddy says (Science and Health, p. 494), "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need."
In the Manual of The Mother Church, Mrs. Eddy states (Art. XXX, Sect. 7): "Healing the sick and the sinner with Truth demonstrates what we affirm of Christian Science, and nothing can substitute this demonstration. I recommend that each member of this Church shall strive to demonstrate by his or her practice, that Christian Science heals the sick quickly and wholly, thus proving this Science to be all that we claim for it."
I had pondered this Section seriously in connection with my Sunday School teaching and wondered if I could prove all that I affirmed. Just as an examination or test is given during a course of study, so my opportunity came to demonstrate what I had learned in Christian Science.
