These words by our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, are on page 3 of Science and Health. What better way have we of availing ourselves of the blessings we have than by using them to help others?
Eight years ago I was told by an eminent physician that it would be impossible for me to have children without major surgery. Having been reared in Christian Science, I did not accept this verdict.
However, for the next three years I was swallowed in the quicksand of a material sense of existence. During this time, I constantly felt that if I was to prove false the medical opinion that I could not have children, I must begin a consecrated study of Christian Science. But it was not until a serious accident occurred that would have taken my husband's life, except for his unwavering stand for Truth, that we turned wholeheartedly to God, and my husband was healed.
