MAKING RIGHT DECISIONS

From the January 1960 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Christian Science is the religion of the healing Christ. It is an absolute, accurate, demonstrable Science. It is the law of God, good, and the enforcement of this law in human experience is decisive and certain.

Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, writes (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 418): "Stick to the truth of being in contradistinction to the error that life, substance, or intelligence can be in matter. Plead with an honest conviction of truth and a clear perception of the unchanging, unerring, and certain effect of divine Science. Then, if your fidelity is half equal to the truth of your plea, you will heal the sick."

No one wants to be indecisive or uncertain, either in thought or in deed. Indecision and uncertainty have continually plagued mankind. Both world history and individual history are really records of decisions and indecisions: to do or not to do. Unhappiness or happiness, war or peace, has been the result.
