I have had the blessings of Christian Science since I was a child. From the age of ten I was able to demonstrate the truths of Science through uplifted faith, and my prayers were answered in quick healings. Then as I grew older I gained through many trials and triumphs a deeper understanding of God and of His laws.
At one time we were living among neighbors who were antagonistic to Christian Science. Our baby, about a year old, developed an ugly skin disease on her face. One of our neighbors saw her and told me she would have me arrested if I did not have medical help at once. I turned to my teacher in Christian Science for treatment. In a few hours a thick coating covered the child's face. The next morning all the coating had come off, and her skin was beautifully clear and without a scar or blemish.
The neighbor came again the next day to see her and was so astonished at the remarkable healing that I was never again threatened for my dependence on God. Today our daughter is a young woman, and people admire her lovely complexion.
