When I was quite young, my mother was instantaneously healed of a malignant condition that the doctors had said was beyond their help. This healing came about as a result of my mother's reading a Christian Science Sentinel that had been given to her. Since that time, our family has been blessed with many healings and proofs of God's care.
Every illness in my childhood was quickly overcome. A broken arm healed perfectly without its being set by a doctor. After I was married, however, I lost interest in Christian Science. I sought comfort by attending other churches, but with no results. Then I was brought back to this Science, or Comforter, through suffering.
Under pressure of a new business venture, my husband became ill, and I was forced into business responsibilities that I could not handle. I too became ill. A medical doctor pronounced the condition as serious with tests indicating the possibility of leukemia.
