I am grateful for the physical healings that have resulted from my study of Christian Science. The temptation to accept colds and headaches as realities has been overcome. As a result of my acknowledging man's perfect relationship to God, a foot condition was healed. During the silent prayer at a Wednesday evening testimony meeting in a branch Church of Christ, Scientist, a loud buzzing in one of my ears was stilled when I realized the spiritual significance of the fact that ours is a healing church. A water blister on one of my hands was instantaneously healed when the erroneous thought of sensation in matter was cast out.
My wife and I are confident that our two boys are protected when we recognize that they are actually always in God's care. When our elder son was three years of age, he was standing on a chair at the kitchen sink while we were doing the evening dishes. A soapy milk bottle, made of glass, slipped from my grasp and shattered against the edge of the sink, right where the boy was standing. Fragments struck his face. We immediately voiced thoughts of Truth and obediently acknowledged the eternal and harmonious presence of the atmosphere of Love. Removing the fragments of glass from his face, we found no trace of injury.
We have had many proofs of unlimited supply. My wife and I had the privilege of taking class instruction together. The day class ended we found ourselves faced with insufficient funds to buy necessities for the coming week. With the inspiration of our class experience flooding our thoughts, we set out about our normal activities, obedience replacing procrastination.
