Many years ago a Christian Science Sentinel was presented to me. I was told that it was published by a religious organization that believed in Christian healing. I lost no time in reading it, and from that moment I knew that I had found the truth which Jesus taught and by which he healed. This conviction has never left me.
Later I sought healing in Christian Science for a physical condition which was accompanied by fever, great physical weakness, and loss of weight. Although I had the help of a Christian Science practitioner, my healing did not come quickly. However, when I strove to overcome the condition, my thought was healed of many false beliefs and was therefore becoming more receptive to the healing power of Truth.
One night while reading from the Sentinel, I suddenly felt as if a heavy load that I had been carrying for as long as I could remember had lifted. This was followed by great peace, and I knew that I had been healed. After this experience I began to gain in weight and felt strong; I then joined and became an active worker in a branch Church of Christ, Scientist. This healing took place over twenty-five years ago and has been permanent.
