With a humble and profound sense of gratitude I testify to the healing power of Christian Science. Over forty-five years ago I was healed of a severe nervous disorder that baffled physicians. I had suffered from this trouble for many years, but was completely and permanently healed in less than a month through Christian Science treatment.
My husband and I immediately took up the study of Christian Science. Our young children were healed of measles, scarlet fever, pneumonia, and many other diseases. We soon joined a branch church and enrolled our children in the Christian Science Sunday School. The children's health improved, business problems were solved, and a new and wonderful outlook came into our lives.
While we were still very new in Science, our youngest daughter, nearly seven years old, who had been in Sunday School about a year, had a wonderful demonstration of the power of Truth. She was sled-riding down a steep hill when she crashed into an iron pole, seriously injuring her arm. Though she was in great pain, she made no outcry; instead she turned her thought to her heavenly Father, as she had been taught to do in the Sunday School. Instantly all pain left her arm, and there was no more pain through the experience that followed.
