How grateful I am to be able to testify to the healing power of Christian Science!
My first year as teacher of a first grade class was extremely difficult. With the help of a Christian Science practitioner and of a friend who was also a school teacher, I was able to finish the school term. The next year was somewhat better. However, my third year of teaching was worse than the first.
My class was undisciplined and completely out of control. Very carefully worked-out lesson plans were seldom used because of the disorder in the classroom. The children were falling far behind in their work. Chaos seemed to prevail. I felt exhausted, frustrated, and defeated.
