The Psalmist promises us, "He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways" (Ps. 91: 11). To many people this promise means very little, since they question the existence of angels. Others, in fact a large per cent of mankind, accept the theological teaching that angels are supernatural messengers from God.
The student of Christian Science accepts the definition of "angels," given on page 581 of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, "God's thoughts passing to man; spiritual intuitions, pure and perfect; the inspiration of good-ness, purity, and immortality, counteracting all evil, sensuality, and mortality." Angels, then, are as near to one as God is.
Christian Science teaches that there is always a specific angel message to meet each human need. The angels that we seek are with us in proportion to our receptivity of their message.
