Mrs. Eddy counsels in "Miscellaneous Writings" (p. 174): "Let us have a clearing up of abstractions. Let us come into the presence of Him who removeth all iniquities, and healeth all our diseases. Let us attach our sense of Science to what touches the religious sentiment within man."
Many enlightened Christians today admit that God's presence may be felt right here and now, that His guidance, compassionate care, and protection may be manifested in our daily round. However, there still claims to be resistance to the acknowledgment that all space is filled with God, or Love, that not only is God present all about us, but is all pervasive, and that there is no minute space void of His presence and consequently of His power.
Because He is All-in-all, that which appears to be present and is unlike God is unreal, a mistaken, ignorant concept.
