Our family has been greatly blessed through the study and application of Christian Science.
The healing of severe headaches which I had experienced since childhood began when I had an unusually severe attack and was unable to reach a practitioner. It was late evening, and I made myself comfortable in a chair, fully expecting to sit up all night, because the condition was aggravated when I lay down. However, I picked up Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy and began to read the chapter on Prayer. By the time I had finished it, I was entirely well.
This healing meant much to me because it was such convincing proof of the power of the Word. The attacks recurred for a time but yielded quickly to the truth applied from the Bible Lessons, outlined in the Quarterly. They finally ceased altogether.
