We are living in an age of great material research, and as a result of this, daily living has become easier. But research in the realm of the spiritual should keep pace with this tremendous urge to overcome human limitations. Students of Christian Science are well equipped to delve deeply into spiritual reality, for this Science provides them with all the essential means for this research. It opens the way to fulfill this clarion call: "Get wisdom, get understanding."Prov. 4:5;

In speaking of what Christian Science is and what it is doing for mankind, Mrs. Eddy says: "It consecrates and inspires the teacher and preacher; it equips the doctor with safe and sure medicine; it encourages and empowers the business man and secures the success of honesty. It is the dear children's toy and strong tower; the wise man's spiritual dictionary; the poor man's money; yea, it is the pearl priceless whereof our Master said, if a man findeth, he goeth and selleth all that he hath and buyeth it."Miscellaneous Writings, pp. 252, 253;

We pay a price when we buy spiritual knowledge. Diligence, patience, and persistence are part of this price. Paul wrote to Timothy, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."II Tim. 2:15;
