There is nothing quite like scanning the morning mail to brighten the day for the Publishers' Agent and his staff. This is especially true when letters come from people at home or abroad who have found that Science and Health or some portion of Mrs. Eddy's writings has been translated into their own tongue.
Take this letter from Rome, for example: "I am a Methodist Italian Minister, but have much sympathy for Christian Science. I bought the Italian translation of Science and Health. Will you be so kind to give my congratulation to the translator? His translation is indeed excellent!"
Or consider a letter from Indonesia which shows how great the demand for translations is there: "On Tuesday ... we found Reading Room attendants busily unpacking 90 copies [of the Indonesian translation of Unity of Good by Mrs. Eddy] which the mailbag had just brought in. On Wednesday, there was just one copy left, 89 had been sold!"
