Christian Science shows us that God's perfect spiritual creation is not static, not rigid, not set up at some point in time. In reality you and I and the universe are the eternally unfolding conceptions of the infinite I AM, sustained and renewed by Him moment by moment as He knows us. Mrs. Eddy writes, "For God to know, is to be; that is, what He knows must truly and eternally exist." No and Yes. p. 16;And elsewhere she tells us, "Creation is ever appearing, and must ever continue to appear from the nature of its inexhaustible source." Science and Health, p. 507;
The divine Mind is perpetually and untiringly active. Mind's boundless energy is reflected by every idea it conceives, and your real selfhood and mine effortlessly manifest the divine activity in unimpeded diversity of motion. As light emanating from the sun is always fresh light, so the real man, the emanation of God, is in a state of constant renewal; and he is eternally at rest because he expresses God's tireless doing. Spiritual man can no more weaken or deteriorate than can the irrepressible Life that is God, for man is the proof of Life's living, Mind's knowing.
The foregoing spiritual facts can be utilized in the here and now. They describe the truth of our being and its relationship to God; and, when prayerfully and persistently claimed and realized, they can silence the weakness or weariness seemingly brought on by advancing years or over-activity. The Bible promises, "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isa. 40:31;
