I did not go looking for Christian Science...

From the November 1973 issue of The Christian Science Journal

I did not go looking for Christian Science. It found me. It came where I was.

I had been brought up in a home where the medical profession was highly regarded. In my family there were a surgeon, a medical practitioner, a dentist, and three trained medical nurses. Our home was equipped with medical remedies for every occasion.

Mrs. Eddy says in the textbook, Science and Health (p. 164), "It is just to say that generally the cultured class of medical practitioners are grand men and women." I can corroborate this in my own experience. I have great respect for their dedication and love of humanity.
