Spiritual being is a present reality and refuge. It is not something necessitating a prolonged struggle or arrived at only in an afterlife. Spiritual being is not for other times and other places or other individuals; it is ours now. Christian Science is emphatic about this. This aspect of Science has tremendous bearing on the way we live. It is highly significant in spiritual healing.
As I write, I'm quite aware of the hubbub of city living. Restless traffic noise hints only a part of the hustle and struggle we often associate with urban life in industrialized countries. Additional problems coming on top of the stress of ordinary living are imposing a heavy strain on many.
And as you read this, you may be struggling with a problem that seems reluctant to give up. The battle can be won by becoming conscious of real being, now.
