I should like to testify to the healing power of Christian Science and to the recognition of divine Science as the Comforter promised by Christ Jesus.
A few years prior to World War II, I had started a manufacturing business with my brother. With the advent of the war, European imports necessary for the business were cut off. This, together with other circumstances, engendered confusion and anxiety.
An aunt, sensing my need and knowing my interest in the Bible, advised that I withdraw temporarily from business and go to live in the home of a Christian Science practitioner outside our city. Here I was able to give total devotion to studying the Bible, the writings of Mrs. Eddy, and the Christian Science periodicals.
