Many years ago, I was in the hospital, pronounced incurably ill. The doctors had given me up, and I had been in a coma for twelve days. In this extremity my husband heard of Christian Science and immediately asked a practitioner for prayerful support. I awakened at once from this dark dream. I can say that Christian Science reached me when according to medical evidence I was about to die.
Those around me took an interest in me that was touching, for my sudden improvement and relatively quick healing was an event in this large hospital in Bremen.
