While I was serving in the Christian Science Reading Room recently, I came across my mother's testimony, published in the Sentinel, relating my childhood healing of mastoiditis and scarlet fever. Now, many years later, I am happy to testify to the permanency of those healings, with no ill effects of any kind. I am grateful that Christian Science has been our way of life over the years. The blessings are countless.
With God as our only physician, many difficulties have been prevented or overcome. From the time she was three, our daughter attended a Christian Science Sunday School, where she was taught to turn to God for answers to her problems. Once it appeared she had measles. In our prayer we saw her as an unblemished spiritual idea and knew that in reality she could only be seen that way. Shortly she was healed and readmitted to school.
One time my husband grabbed a falling spinning router with his hand. The resulting ugly wounds were completely healed through Christian Science treatment alone.
