Human thought is being subjected to good and bad influences every moment. But the one divine influence, manifesting all good, is present now to guide and protect us from any form of evil. It is the Christ, Truth, expressing the presence of God and demonstrating His power. We can prove progressively that Christ is eternally active and can never be weakened or stopped.
Christian Science shows how to protect thought from evil influences; this involves receptivity to all the good already within the Christ-man, God's exact likeness. Man is actually the inseparable idea of God, expressive only of all-powerful Life, Truth, and Love. Ultimately we will come to fully realize that there is, in actuality, no evil or discord to respond to.
The Bible states, "God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good." Gen. 1:31. Error, any evil, is completely foreign to God's kingdom, the infinite and only universe. There is no more truth in error than there is darkness in light.
