Love's hereness

Isaiah 35:7

From the July 1981 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Where dragons lay
Soft rushes grow.
Gentle green things,
Upspringing, show
Love's presence
Where no poison lurks
To challenge God.

His hereness
Here
This very day
At fingertips
Reveals His Christ in me—
Reflected, free—
My voyager explores identity.

This treasured selfhood
Forever stays
The light of morning
In my days.

Sing the glory
Shout the praise!
