Our family has had many beautiful healings in Christian Science. Some have occurred quickly; others have required diligent prayer and steadfast trust in the power of divine Truth to heal.
During the summer of 1988 one morning our two-and-a-half-year-old daughter woke with a swollen and painful neck. We called a Christian Science practitioner for prayerful help. She reminded us that our daughter was, in spiritual fact, enveloped in divine Love.
My husband and I prayed, endeavoring to see more clearly God's protective care of our daughter. The next day the swelling had subsided. Several days passed, and one day I noticed a large lump under our daughter's jaw. I called the practitioner. My husband and I were encouraged to read the chapter titled "Animal Magnetism Unmasked" in Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.
