Testimonies of Healing

Allergic reactions healed

From the September 2003 issue of The Christian Science Journal

For several years, I had an allergy to soap powders and detergents. I couldn't even put my hands in dishwater without them drying up and breaking out in a rash. They would be inflamed and painful and would take about three days to clear up. I dealt with the problem by wearing rubber gloves. I never entered a kitchen or bathroom without them. If there was a hole in one of the gloves, though, a rash would erupt in that spot. Being a mother with two small children, this was very inconvenient. And I lived in constant fear of these rashes. I explored various medical options, but discovered there was no cure.

I found a permanent solution to my problem.

Looking for a permanent solution, I picked up a book about spiritual healing called Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. In it, I learned many new ideas about how to pray. Those ideas inspired me to turn to God for healing.
