See you in the Discovery Area

From the September 2003 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Besides having access to the sessions offered at 2003 Annual Meeting of The Mother Church & Conference in Boston and Berlin, most people took advantage of the Discovery Area. This multifunctional space allowed attendees to reflect, browse, digest ideas they heard in the general sessions, encounter new ideas, read or purchase books and magazines, and even check their e-mail. It was also a great place to meet friends or enjoy lunch. Thanks to its extended hours, some attendees found that they spent more time in the Discovery Area than anywhere else at the conference.

In Berlin, the Discovery Area was in the Max-Schmeling-Halle, and literally thousands of people flowed into it between every session. In Boston it was in the Administration Building lobby, and proved to be a popular destination, as well.
