Christ Jesus was successful in healing and teaching because he was able to lift the thought of his listeners above the evidence of the material senses. He brought a new view of God's love and purpose for man and of man's true individuality.

That the power of God and His love are ever present and available to meet every need for everyone, no matter who he is or where he is, was graphically proven to a young engineer and his wife during their sojourn in a country prevalently atheistic some years ago. They had just begun the earnest study of Christian Science and were only superficially aware of the widespread activity of the Church of Christ, Scientist.
