Testimonies of Healing

Christian Science found me when earthly hope and help were gone. My case was dementia, or insanity.

" Be undismayed, soon comes the morning's dawn. " Thus would I cry out with grateful heart to all my dear fellow-men who are waiting, as I waited, for the hour of light, in order to know the truth.

When I first attended Sunday service in a Christian Science church, what impressed me was the quotation on the wall, from page 494 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need. " After the service I decided to talk with a practitioner instead of going on to a sanitarium, as had been planned.

Words are inadequate to express my gratitude for the many blessings that have come to me through Christian Science. On page 392 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" Mrs.

With greatest gratitude I should like to exclaim with the Psalmist: "Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases.

" He that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. " Thus spoke the Saviour; and the truth of these words has been proved in my case.

Twenty-nine years ago in September, Christian Science was brought to my notice by the healing of a much-loved member of our family. I was so grateful for this healing that I desired to know how it had been accomplished.

In the one hundred and seventh psalm we read, "Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy. " The study and application of the rules set forth in the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," written by Mary Baker Eddy, have redeemed me from the hand of the enemy many times.

Nineteen years ago I was taken with a nervous complaint which grew worse from year to year. I was in such a feeble condition that it seemed likely I should pass on.

With sincere gratitude I desire to bear witness to the healing efficacy of Christian Science. It is nearly eleven years since I commenced the study of this truth which makes free, mainly with the desire to help one very near and dear to me, who was unable to read.
