Testimonies of Healing

[Original testimony in French] I have known of Christian Science for some time. It was presented to me by friends, and I had never before heard it spoken of.

I am glad of this opportunity to express my thankfulness to God for Christian Science. By the time I was twenty-three, having experienced much of the seamy side of life, ill health, and lack of funds, I was dejected, and my nerves were in a wretched state.

I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science, for what it has done and is doing for me. During more than twenty years I suffered from chronic indigestion; and the constant dieting made me very weak and no better.

I did not come into Christian Science for physical healing, but because of an unrest and dissatisfaction in my religious beliefs. I not only have received satisfaction and rest in this new-old religion, but have had many physical healings.

It is impossible for me to express in words my gratitude for Christian Science, and I humbly desire that my life shall be a living witness of my sincerity and earnest endeavor to follow in the footsteps of our Master. I became interested in Christian Science over twenty-three years ago.

It is with deep gratitude I express my thanks for the many blessings and healings I have experienced through Christian Science whenever rightly applied. Varicose veins of many years' standing have been completely healed; also, glasses were discarded which had been in constant use.

I became interested in Christian Science when I saw my father healed by its means. We were in a city some distance from our home when he was taken sick.

It is about twelve years since I became interested in Christian Science. At that time I was a physical and mental wreck from sickness and suffering, which I had endured most of the time from my birth.

It gives me great pleasure to testify to the truthfulness of the testimony given by my dear husband. I am truly grateful to our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for this healing truth, which she not only had and demonstrated, but in her wonderful love for humanity was able to convey to others, in order that the Christ-healing might help us at this time of great materiality, and that we in turn might help our brother-man to resist the temptations of the world.

For more than seven years Christian Science has been my only physician, counselor, and comforter. It does more than heal sickness: it annihilates evil, discord, and inharmony of every kind.
