Testimonies of Healing

I am most grateful for Christian Science,—for all that it has done and is daily doing for me. When it was offered to me I was in great distress.

Having been healed through the reading of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, in 1913, I feel I should let my light shine, and therefore am writing the following testimony. In December, 1912, a friend of mine turned to Christian Science for the healing of cancer of the nose.

I first heard of Christian Science about eight years ago. A sister was taking treatment for physical troubles and was reading the textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.

I consider it a great privilege to testify to the healing and regenerating power of Christian Science. I had suffered for many years from fainting attacks and from a very severe bowel trouble, and had been treated by many doctors.

Christian Science came to me in the year 1913, at a time when most needed. I was suffering from a very bad nervous breakdown and severe skin disease on the face, also internal troubles for which I took treatment until our family physician gave me up.

It is hardly believable that after one had been snatched from the jaws of death through a beautiful healing in Christian Science from blood poisioning, that this selfsame person would be so ungrateful as to allow himself to fall into the grasp of evil, especially when he had known no other teaching of God. But after leaving home and the influence of beautiful Christian Science thought held continually by my dear mother, I tried for four years to do without God.

Christian Science has been my only physician for years, whereas previously I took medicine every night for a form of indigestion. I am so thankful to God for sending me this healing truth; for Mrs.

The benefits I have received through the study of Chiristian Science are greater than I can express in words. From my birth I was considered frail and delicate; and up to the age of seven I spent most of the winters in bed.

I came into Christian Science over seventeen years ago through the healling of my baby girl. She had erysipelas, and was the most pitiful sight I had ever seen.

With joy and gratitude I tender my testimony as to the healing and regenerating power of Christian Science. In the year 1910, I was afflicted with epilepsy.
