Testimonies of Healing

It is now four years since I experienced a most wonderful healing through the truth as found in Christian Science. For years I had intermittently suffered both day and night from a skin trouble.

Christian Science has brought about greater harmony in my business and given me more faith in God. I read the Bible more than ever before, as the understanding of Science and Health makes the Scriptures clear, and I know Christian Science to be a practical, every-day religion.

Over five years have elapsed since I took up the study of Christian Science. I had been an invalid for more than twenty years, suffering from a complication of diseases, namely, nervousness, extreme weakness, chronic bowel difficulty, female trouble, bronchitis, heart disease, kidney trouble, and an abnormal growth at the end of the spine.

Several years ago, when broken in health and thoroughly despondent, I was lovingly led to Christian Science. A prominent physician in this city had told me that unless I underwent an operation to rid me of an abnormal growth of eight years' standing, I would be an invalid for life.

The understanding of God as taught in Christian Science has brought untold blessings into our lives. A few years ago, when almost passing away with heart trouble, I was instantly healed through the power of Truth.

It is now over two years since I was healed, through Christian Science, of a serious internal displacement, a condition of long standing. A surgical operation having been unsuccessful, and a second one being advised, I asked for Christian Science treatment.

For eighteen years I was addicted to the use of morphine and liquor and went through all the suffering attendant on those habits, but with less than two months of Christian Science treatment I was completely healed, and have since had further opportunity to prove that Truth is indeed able to save to the uttermost. I wish to tell of a demonstration for which I am indeed thankful. Before coming into Christian Science I was subject to attacks of throat trouble, and the last spell kept me very ill for five weeks, under medical treatment.
