Testimonies of Healing

I have been studying Christian Science for ten years now, and I am grateful for many healings. But what I am most grateful for is the knowledge that God, divine Love, is ever-present.

I had just gotten out of the dentist's chair after having my teeth cleaned, when a pain in my back started to bother me. I really didn't give this a second thought as I drove to the office to finish out my day.

I am very grateful for the healing power of Christian Science. It has been invaluable to me in raising children, maintaining a loving marriage, solving problems, and living a happy and healthy life.

I've experienced many healings of physical, mental, and relationship problems since becoming a student of Christian Science. I'd like to share this one in the hope that it may prove helpful to others.

In the early 1980s I began having a pain in my hip. I didn't pay much attention to it at first, but over a period of several weeks the discomfort increased, and my normal mobility was becoming quite limited.

Over two years ago a spot appeared on the lower part of my upper arm that turned into a sore that would bleed. I did not want to cover it, because I thought it would heal better if it was uncovered.

In the course of finding new employment after twenty years with the same company, I had a physical examination. Now, I had prayed about the fact that my true and only being acts in obedience to God's law and operates in perfect harmony with ever-operative and harmonious Mind, God.

All my life I have been sincerely and deeply grateful for the multitude of blessings that the teachings of Christian Science have brought into my experience. My writing down of some of them is long overdue.

One day, when our son was about three years old, I put him to bed for a nap and then went to my room to take a nap myself. Suddenly, I was awakened by the sound of his screams coming from outside the house.

Several years ago , I first noticed a small red patch on my temple. It didn't hurt and was hardly noticeable, so it did not stir me into prayer about it.
