Testimonies of Healing
In 1972 my husband and I moved to a resort area to enjoy a more relaxed life style in retirement. We had lived there for only a few months when a friend suggested that I write a book about my experiences in film and fashion.
I am certain that I was led to Christian Science as a result of prayer, since, as a young child I sought proof that God was indeed present to help us as He did the prophets and devoted followers of His law in Bible times. My family were introduced to Christian Science through the healing of someone they knew.
I've always been grateful that my parents had the wisdom and the dedication to adhere to the precepts of Christian Science, because being raised in Christian Science made growing up a pleasure. My very early years were lived during the Depression of the thirties, but despite the high unemployment of that period, my dad always worked and brought home a steady income through his understanding and application of Christian Science.
