Testimonies of Healing

I have been healed in Christian Science of epilepsy. I am very happy to express my deep gratitude for the blessings I have received.

My mother was regarded as a delicate person by members of her family. When my arrival as her firstborn drew near, fears and doubts were felt for her condition.

I love Christian Science. It has been a great joy to be raised in Christian Science and to attend a Christian Science Sunday School.

My first healing through Christian Science came before I was a student of this Science. Shortly after my marriage I was advised that I needed surgery to correct an internal disorder.

For many years I was a faithful and dedicated member of a Protestant church, and I will always be grateful for that loving experience. As time went on, however, I realized that some of my needs were not being met and many questions lacked satisfying answers.

Some years ago my deep search into the Science of Christianity proved to me that "with God all things are possible" ( Mark 10:27 ), and I was healed through mental surgery of adhesions. I had a slight knowledge of Christian Science since my childhood and had sort of tucked it away in my consciousness as something I could turn to in case I needed it.

It was many years ago, soon after the turn of the century, that my parents were introduced to Christian Science. Mother, suffering from a severe asthmatic condition, had been told by doctors she would not survive.

A recent instantaneous healing inspires me to write this testimony. For several months I had pain and stiffness in both hands and one arm.

Learning to talk to God as a friend, as a loving, interested Father, to me, is one of our greatest blessings. Prayer, as learned through the study of Christian Science, is an indispensable help in the rearing of children, both from the standpoint of maintaining happy relations and for the healing of physical ills.
