Testimonies of Healing
I am deeply grateful for a healing of obesity that took place two years ago. I had halfheartedly considered this a problem over a period of years.
Christian Science heals. This I have proven many times.
After I had an inspiring and harmonious first year as Second Reader in a branch Church of Christ, Scientist, a vacation was arranged to visit my family, located at a military base in a western desert area. Just a few days before I was to return home, a severe dust storm appeared suddenly, and something lodged in one of my eyes.
Recently while attending a Christian Science lecture, I found myself silently answering No when the lecturer asked, "Does anyone here need companionship, a home, a job, better health?" A happy home would be at the top of the list of my blessings.

In our family we have had many healings and blessings. Each one has given us a deeper understanding of man's unity with our Father-Mother God.
Christian Science has met my every need throughout a successful career in public service. During the flu epidemic in 1918, I was sent home from school by the school doctor, who said that I had all the symptoms of this disease.
The Psalmist had a clear conviction of the ever-presence of God when he wrote ( Ps. 46: l ), "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
