
Testimonies of Healing
This testimony is given as an expression of deep gratitude for Mrs. Eddy for her wonderful foresight of humanity's needs in establishing both the Christian Science Sunday School and the Christian Science Reading Room as an integral part of The Church of Christ, Scientist.
This testimony is to give sincere and earnest thanks for a perfect healing of defective eyesight and for laying off glasses, which I used for some twenty years. On two occasions I asked for help on this problem from faithful, consecrated Christian Science practitioners.

I wish to express gratitude for Christ Jesus, for Christian Science, and for our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who gave us this wonderful truth.

More than a half century ago I began the study and application of Christian Science, and over the years I have gratefully experienced many instances of healing through scientific metaphysical prayer. Early in my study of Christian Science I was instantaneously healed of a chronic condition of sties around my eyes, a condition which had harassed me throughout a period of two years.
I was led to Christian Science through a dear friend. One day while she was talking of the value of this religion with such a beautiful glow of joy, I felt there must be something about it worth investigating.
